Remodeling

Well, I’m remodeling the site, again. It’s been a few years, so I think it’s time to shake things up and hopefully make some improvements, again. The last remodeling job was in the interest of making it easier for me to make updates. This latest change is in the interest of making it easier for you to participate. The new site is still in development, but I posted my trip report from yesterday’s swamp adventure there, so you’ll have to follow this link to see the latest news and pictures.

Bondage videos???

Some of you are aware, but many are not, that I often make clean bondage videos, featuring my mostly naked body in strict, predicament bondage. I generally don’t offer those videos for sale, since I know most of the people who follow my adventures are mainly interested in the deep, perilous mud variety. I’m just curious how many of you are interested in my clean bondage videos. In my opinion, the clean bondage videos are really hot. Based on my sales numbers, there aren’t many people in this group who agree with me. Please drop me a message and let me know if you’d like me to share and/or offer more bondage videos for sale. Don’t worry, there are more mud videos on the way! Spring has definitely sprung, and it has been a long winter.

I've added the teaser for the March 17, 2011 swamping video. You can view it here. I’ve also added the new clip to my UMD.net store, but it is awaiting approval at this time. If you’re a UMD.net member, you should be able to purchase it there within a few days. The weather is warming up fast. There should be new movies coming soon. Heather Blake has been in hiding all winter. I might have some new video of her soon, also, if the weather holds. I’m looking forward to another great year of mudding. First mud trip of 2011

I finally got to go mudding. What a long winter that was! It was a pretty day. It wasn’t quite 70 degrees and there was just a light breeze, so it wasn’t too cold to be wet. The mud was still pretty cold, so I didn’t commit myself to a total immersion. I did, however, have a lot of fun, slipping and sliding, sinking past my nipples, and trying to keep my penis warm with friction. The entire thing was recorded on video, thanks to my small, but high quality JVC camcorder. I was able to put the JVC on a monopod and stick it in the mud wherever I wanted it. All of the stills you see here were taken from the video. Click on the individual stills to see 960x540 sized versions (the same size as the video on Clips4Sale.com).

Winter is upon us

Winter has arrived early with a vengeance. It doesn’t look like I’ll be doing any mudding in December. Then again, you never know when the jet stream will shift. In any case, I finished another clip from the October 9 shoot and uploaded it to my clips4sale store. Fans of Stormy Night or Heather Blake should check it out. It’s a cute little, unscripted drama. I still plan on releasing a DVD of my 2010 mud exploits, but I’ve been ridiculously busy the past couple of weeks and it looks like I’ll be slammed for a little while longer. The DVD will probably be ready at the very end of this year, or early next year. I’m also trying to put together a holiday video with a variety of sexy clips. If you all are lucky, I’ll get a clip of me in my hot, new briefs. Happy Holidays to everyone.

In case you were having trouble finding the new video clips in my clips4sale store; I put the wrong sort sequence numbers on the new video clips so they were shown on page 3 of my store, rather than at the top of page 1. I’ve corrected the error to make it easier to find the new clips. I’ve gotten some positive feedback on the new clips from a couple of people. I always appreciate the feedback. I’d like to say thanks to my long time, dedicated supporters. As the season draws to an end, I’ve been asked to put together a DVD release for those who don’t or can’t download clips. Recent DVD releases haven’t sold well, so I can’t commit to a release date, but if you’ve got any suggestions for a DVD release, now would be the time to forward them to me. The weather forecast calls for seasonably cool weather for the next week. It looks like the 2010 swamping season is just about over. In case you don’t hear from me again for a while; I hope everyone has a peaceful, warm holiday season, and nobody goes hungry.

(click the image to play a short movie clip) So, that’s 3 new movies for the fans of male mud/quicksand. Don’t worry, I’m not quitting, but cold weather is on the way, so things are going to slow down a lot until the next planting season. I usually get a trip or two in, in the dead of winter, but my best adventures are when I don’t have to worry about freezing anything off ... if you know what I mean. It’s looking like my male mud wrestling video will have to wait until next year. I am sad that we couldn’t get it done this year; I was looking forward to doing it.

Swamping on Halloween!

What could be scarier than a trip into the deep swamp? Halloween was a beautiful day, here in eastern North Carolina. Low tide was around midday, so I set out with my kayak to see what opportunities might present themselves. I didn’t actually plan to do any serious mudding. I took a trash bag so I could pick up some of the trash that had collected on the shores of the creek since the big rain. I also took my machete, because the creek still has some places where it’s difficult to get by the downed timber; also from the recent rain event. My first adventure was to stop and clear a pathway through a log jam that was blocking my progress. I paused there to take some scenic photos, also. The tide was really low, so the creek was very shallow, sandy, and quite beautiful. There wasn’t much trash to pick up, because one of my fellow nature enthusiasts had gotten there ahead of me. I wandered around a little, collecting what little trash I could find, and finally, I paddled to a place where I knew the mud would be thick and deep. I had my new little video camera with me, and I set it up on my mini tripod, overlooking a dangerous little mud hole. I stripped off my kayaking clothes and wriggled into my body-hugging, red latex briefs. I started the camera rolling and opened my little mud drama by falling into the mud, hands first. I followed that with a long, slow sink, struggling against the thick mud, as it sucked me down, inch by agonizing inch. That took 25 minutes, and I was trying to go as fast as I could to beat the rising tide. After going completely under (as if that weren’t enough), I wriggled out and did a couple of headstands, just as the tide was creeping over the mud. All of the pictures in this blog entry are from my video camera. The ones of me in red latex briefs are from the 2010-10-31 video clips that will be on sale soon. Swamp exploration

I ventured out yesterday to enjoy the pretty fall weather. First I had to hack my way through the trees that fell in the recent flooding near my put-in. After that, I paddled up the nearby tributaries to see how much chaos had been wreaked by the flooding. I took my new video camera so I could experiment with it and learn how to work it’s controls. So, I made a few stops and recorded a few short clips of my muddy feet and some struggling in thigh deep mud. I did learn some valuable lessons about the new camera. The clips I recorded could have been better, but that’s part of the process of getting to know a new camera. The entire sequence of clips was too long to put on-line, so I picked the 2 best clips and uploaded them to the Movie Clips page for your viewing pleasure.

I’ve just released another erotic video from the October 9 video shoot. The new video is called “Come Play With Me”. It features Heather Blake and Stormy Night, kissing, rubbing, and tickling each other in the clay pit. We shot a video on October 12 of me, naked and hogtied in the claypit. I have uploaded a 24 second teaser/trailer and added it to the male movies page. There is a better description of the movie there also. The video is available on my Clips4Sale store. I don’t know when it will hit my UMD.net store. It should be there around the end of the week. Anyway, I had a great time shooting this clip. The bondage was tight and I had a really good struggle in the soft, slippery clay. If this warm weather holds out a little longer, I might shoot another video of me in the clay. Given that I designed the new pit for mud wrestling, it would be cool to find a guy with whom I could wrestle in the clay. I don’t know of anyone in the area, at the moment. Maybe someone will materialize, or one of my fans will make the trip down here. I’m still hoping for another trip into the swamp this fall; at least. The weather is still pretty mild here.

To all of the guys who sent a response to my earlier blog entry, thank you for letting me know you’re still out there. I really do appreciate the show of support. I have planned a shoot for Tuesday morning. The weather forecast is for warm and sunny weather, and I have an expert bondager coming to tie me up really tight and pitch me into the clay. If you don’t hear from me again, it’s safe to assume that I died happy. Look for a new male mud video in the next week to 10 days.

Well, the big shoot is over. It went pretty well, all things considered. Everyone was there, although a couple of the crew were late. We got started pretty close to 09:00, which is what was on the schedule. The clay was thick and creamy. In some ways it was great, and in others, it was a force with which to be reckoned. The thick clay sticks to everything and everyone. It covers hair, bodies and clothes in a thick, impermeable layer. It was all great fun, though. The photo above is a video capture from the “Friends” clip which is already in our Damsels Clips4sale store. The girl on the left is Luna Kirby, and the girl on the right is Stormy Night, aka. Sherry Stunns. Stormy is an accomplished fetish model who does WAM, bondage, wrestling, and other fetish movies. She travels all over the country, and she is very good at what she does. It was really great having her on our shoot. Her energy and enthusiasm were contagious and she set a great example for the less experienced actors. The photo on the right features Luna Kirby, Heather Blake, and Jenni Mack (from left to right), as our mafia girls. All of the girls were great. I’m pretty sure everyone had fun, and they gave great performances.

We have only a few days before the big muddy shoot. The days are getting shorter and the nights are downright chilly. It won't be long before it will be too cold to shoot more mud videos. The summer went really fast; I guess because every day has been a struggle for me. I intend to take advantage of the warm autumn days to shoot a couple more male mud videos. If anyone is interested in seeing me tied up and struggling in kaolin clay, be sure to let me know. Otherwise, I'll wait for the right conditions to venture out into the trusty old swamp. We just had 20-25 inches of rain here, so it will be a while before the creek is low enough to do anything, but I'd expect to have some good sinking weather in a week or so. Drop me a note if you actually read this blog. I’d love to know if anyone is still following my muddy adventures.

Progress and setbacks

Most of last week was lost to heavy rain. I measured over 22" of rain in my yard over about 4 days. I've still got a lot of work to do to clean up after what was essentially the worst flooding I've seen here since I moved here 20 years ago. On Saturday, we shot an audition video of one of the new models I'll be using on the upcoming all-day shoot for which I am struggling to prepare. This week is bound to be crazy. I don't think I'll be getting much sleep. Check out the free clip from yesterday's shoot that is linked from the damsels page. It is in MP4 format, so you shouldn't even need Quicktime to play it. I would love to encode all of my clips in MP4, but I'm still working out the settings for the best quality at a reasonable size.

Heather Blake does it again

There is a new Heather Blake movie in town, and it’s called “Black on Black”. Heather is looking hotter than ever in a corset, shiny leggings and boots. You can now find the new Heather Blake movie, “Muddy Heather Vol III” immediately in our Clips4Sale store and soon in Heather Blake’s UMD store; it’s awaiting approval, but it will be available by Sept 21 on UMD. The feature is 17.5 minutes long, and it’s hot. Our HD download clips are in Quicktime format. They are encoded with high quality H.264 compression that requires Quicktime 7+ to play. The quality of the clips is better than standard DVD quality.

Heather goes all the way

Heather Blake and I went into the swamp this morning to shoot some video in my deepest, most perilous mud hole. The mud is very soft, light weight, and bottomless. Since the mud is light weight, it is also pretty easy to descend into the depths. I was pretty sure this would be Heather's twilight appearance, but she insisted that she was not afraid. I figured if there was a good chance she would never resurface, she should probably just go naked and let me sell her boots on E-bay, but she insisted on wearing her hot, knee-high boots (thigh high boots are coming soon!), along with some PVC shorts and a silver bikini top. Heather jumped into the mud a few times, and immersed herself completely, twice. As luck would have it, she survived the ordeal and I brought her back with me. I think she survived because she had a good teacher in mud survival, and she is a fast learner. She had a pretty good time, too. Oh, of course I video taped the entire thing, so her fans would be able to share her 3rd installment in the Muddy Heather series. I just finished editing the video. Those of you who wanted to see Heather get completely muddy and go completely under should be happy. Those of you who wanted to see her struggle in quicksand, damsel in distress style, will have to wait. Heather is getting more accustomed to the mud. She is getting better and better. If she doesn't get eaten by an alligator, she'll probably make lots of great movies. Heather is also learning all about shooting video in the swamp, so she can make some awesome movies of yours truly on her days off. She has taken some great photos of me out in the swamp, also. Heather is tough, she's adventurous, and she's got a great hat. She’s just all around amazing. I’ll make another announcement once the video is available for purchase. New Heather Blake clips

You may have noticed that it has been nearly a month since my last update. I've been involved in several projects and the tides have not been favorable for swamping when I've been free. So, while waiting for the moon to align itself with my schedule, I shot 2 videos of Heather in the back yard. In one of them, she is dressed in camo shorts and knee-high black boots with stiletto heels, and she goes into the mudpit. She also cleans up in the pond, on camera. That clip was just added to my Clips4Sale store. It has been available through HeatherBlake's UMD store for a week or two. A couple of days ago we shot a wet video with Heather in the new mudpit that is still devoid of mud. Heather decided to use it like a slipe-n-slide, and I shot a short video of her musings. She is wearing tiny blue microshorts that lace in the front and back, and a bikini top, so the video is pretty hot, albeit a little short. It's under 3 minutes, so I can't put it on Clips4Sale. It is in HeatherBlake's UMD store for a meager $1.78. Unfortunately, UMD has a $10 minimum purchase, so you'll have to plan on bundling it with another clip. Otherwise, it's a pretty good deal. The video quality is very nice. The video quality on the mudpit scene is not quite as nice, because we shot under a bright sun. Heather also took some photos of me, one day when we were kayaking around at high tide. I added 2 of them to the photo gallery.

Self bondage in the swamp

Yesterday, I went out into the swamp solo for some extreme self bondage. I took the video camera, just in case, but I wasn’t going to make a video, I was going to live out my mud bondage fantasies. As it turned out, conditions were good for shooting, so I set up the camera and let it roll. I spent most of my time inverted. I was suspended upside down by my ankles and a strap around the base of my cock and balls. I shot a good 40 minutes of video. I no doubt could have shot more, but the tape came to an end and I was in no condition to change tapes. I edited the 40+ minutes of video down to 19 for the feature clip (see my Clips4Sale store). There are lots of great out-takes that I hope to put into a video someday that I will post free in low resolution. After the tape ended, I did one more, torturous scene in which my genitals were tethered to the lead weight and I sank, in a sitting position with my legs outstretching in front of me, as deep as I could and still be able to breath. Well, let me tell you, that mud is really thick and sticky! I struggled for a long time working myself back out of that mud with a 34 pound weight hanging painfully off my private parts. By the time I got out, I was both exhausted and excited beyond the red line. It was getting late, by that point, and the weather looked threatening, so I hauled all of my gear (including that 34 pound lead weight that feels a lot heavier after an experience like the one I just survived) back to the creek where I got cleaned up and made my way back home. As luck would have it, Heather arrived at my place right after I did, so we got to watch the video together before she went home and I had an explosive orgasm.

Well, today was quite the adventure. I started out the day with a 6 mile paddle to pick up trash along one of the local waterways. Trash pickup is fun, because the people who do it are great people, but it’s also depressing when you see the stuff people fling our their car windows, or leave behind when they visit the water. It never ceases to disappoint me, when I see how thoughtless people can be. My next project was to push ahead with the excavation phase of a new mudpit I’m constructing in the back yard. This new mudpit will be broader, but not as deep. The purpose will be for filming scenes like mud wrestling, bondage in mud, falling into mud, and anything I can think of where we don’t need or want deep mud. In the pictures below, you see where I left off today. I still have some more digging to do, then there will be a liner, and finally some kind of clay mixture will be used to fill it up. I intend to landscape it so it looks natural. It’s in a nice, wooded setting where it will be easy to set up a camera, lights, or whatever I need for shooting. I know, it doesn’t look like much, yet. Mudpit maintenance

After spending some time in the old mudpit, I decided it was time to give it a big stir. Let me tell you; stirring a pit full of overly thickened mud isn’t as easy as you might imagine. When the mud is essentially solidifying, you’ve got to dig it out, give it a good turn, maybe add some water, squoosh it around a bit, and put it back. I made a little video while I was working on the pit. Let me just add that the mud is really heavy ...

WARNING: Explicit description of erotic genital bondage follows. Last night I put on my painfully tight, ball splitting jean cutoffs over some black lame briefs. I locked a leather strap around the base of my genitals and locked a chain around my waist. I added a rope at the base of my genitals to which I tied my ankles once I got into the mudpit. I attached the leather strap around my genitals to the winch rope and proceeded to winch myself down into the thick mud by that strap that was crushing my sensitive parts into the tight strip of denim running through my crotch. I struggled, made a lot of funny noises, and changed positions a few times. I got the first 22 minutes of my adventure on camera. I have uploaded a short version of the video for those of you who are interested. I haven’t decided if it’s worth releasing the full video for sale, as I doubt many people will buy it. If anyone is interested, let me know. If I have 3 people who want it, it’s worth uploading. The video is good quality, but I should mention it was shot in standard definition and the full version is encoded in 360p. Just FYI. I had a great time in the mud. The video camera battery died before I finished. I wish I had some still photos of the aftermath. My entire body was sheathed in black mud, and my “bulges” were enhanced by those wicked cutoffs and the tight genital strap. I looked pretty hot!

I will be passing it along to another mud producer, but I won’t make it public. It’s kind of urgent, so please use the contact form to get in touch if you know of a good spot. Also, to the guy in California who recently purchased 4 copies of “Heather’s Invitation”, would you please contact me, also. I’m no sure why you would purchase the same video 4 times, but I can hook you up on a free video if I know how to contact you. All I have is your name, city, and IP address. Your DVD is on it’s way to you, now. ... and now, back to our originally scheduled programming ... I’ve been trying to keep the mudpit usable. I’ve added organic matter to make the mud lighter, but I don’t think I added enough to make much of a difference in the density of the mud. It did, however, manage to make the mud grittier. That’s not good. I went out the night before last to play in the mudpit, and I got very messy. I left the cameras in the house because I just wanted to enjoy the mud for a while, and try out some ideas. The nights are so warm this time of year, I could play in the mud all night. The mud is warm also. I think I’ll venture out there again tonight and this time I might shoot some video and share some of it here. Heather is traveling. When she returns, we’ll probably shoot another video. Does anyone want to see a video of me, tied and tortured in the mud? I’m not just shooting more of Heather because she sells more videos, although that doesn’t hurt ... I’m also shooting more videos of Heather because I am more familiar with my video camera and shooting video in the swamp than Heather, so it generally works out better when I’m behind the camera and Heather is in the mud. However, if anyone is dying to see me do something specific, be sure to let me know, so I can put your idea on my list. I’ve still got a couple of ideas I’m working on, but they have to wait for the right conditions/actors. I hope everyone in the Northern hemisphere is having a good summer. I know the weather has been pretty harsh in a lot of places. For those of you in the Southern hemisphere, winter is nearly over ... hang in there, and check out my on-line videos for a diversion!

Heather in Boots

On August 8, Heather Blake and I went out into the swamp with 3000 pounds of equipment and a pair of shiny new vinyl boots (the boots were for Heather). I dutifully hauled the 3000 pounds of gear deep into the swamp so Heather could show off her new boots in front of my video camera. Heather did her best to make it look natural to be walking through soft, sucking swamp mud, wearing vinyl boots with 4” stiletto heals. The video turned out pretty well. You can check out the free trailer, here. You will find links from the trailer to the on-line stores where you can download the full version for a small fee. I sure hope you enjoy the movie. My back will never be the same from hauling all of that equipment out into the swamp, and carrying it on my shoulders where there was no solid footing. But you know me, I’m not one to complain. It can always be worse. :)

New clips and website update

I’ve added the trailers for both new clips I shot on July 25. There is one in the Damsels section (Muddy Heather Vol II), and one in the movies section (Swamping 2010-July-25). The Damsels section has been completely reorganized. Both of the new clips are now available in our Clips4Sale stores (one in the male section and one in the female section). It would be nice to hear from some of my long-time supporters. My inbox has been pretty quiet lately. I’m trying to make updates as often as I can. I’m committed to hosting as many free movies as I can, as my contribution to the mud community; especially the male mud community. I do appreciate everyone’s support. There are some of you who purchase all or most of my clips, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your financial support. I hope to have a new out-takes clip available soon. Swamping on July 25

It is definitely summer in the swamp. I hate to say it, but swamping in the summer is not always that refreshing. You’d think a mud bath would be just what the doctor ordered, but the water and the mud can both get pretty warm in the summer sun. This past Sunday, the mud was actually hot on top and the water felt warmer than the air, which had to have been at least 90 degrees. With the humidity and hot water, it was hard to get cooled off. The good news is that the tide was really low and it stayed low. The mud was really thick and I really enjoyed playing in it. I also had the video camera running, and I had someone there to operate it. I updated my photo gallery, and there will be free movie trailers and two new movies coming soon. Look for the new movie clips in the next 2 days.

Wow! what a great swamping trip. The weather was perfect, and Heather Blake came along to keep me company. We recorded two movies. In the first one, Heather gets tricked into approaching the mud where she gets a little nudge and spends the rest of the clip struggling to get back out as the sucking mud tries to pull her under. After Heather made her narrow escape from the mud, we both jumped in and enjoyed the soft, inviting mud. It was warm, it was thick, it was soft, and it was inviting. I have a new male mud movie in the clip store, called “Erotic Mud Play”. It was shot on June 19. I’m not sure if it will be available in the UMD store any time soon. The feature is 17 minutes 20 seconds long! There is an exciting trailer for those of you who might be interested. I had fun shooting this one. It’s the first time I’ve been mudding in leather jeans. Swamping on June 5

I ventured out on Saturday (June 5, 2010) to explore the depths of my scariest mud spot. I took the lead weight, so I could go under effortlessly. I was also testing a new video camera... a tiny little thing that shoots 1080p on an SDHC memory card. I selected 720p mode, because the quality seems better in that mode. Unfortunately, the field of view gets narrower in 720p, so I didn’t get as much in my shots as I expected. The sink was good, and it was far from effortless. I struggled and went under several times. The camera caught some of the action. At first the weight was attached to a belt that I could release easily, but then I got a little more reckless and attached it to my genitals. That’s not only a little bit painful, but it’s really hard to get out of! In my final sink (not on camera), it took me a long time to drag my weighted body up onto the front of my kayak so I could work at the knots that had pulled really tight. My only way out was to somehow drag myself up onto something. My ankles were tied to my genitals, along with the weight. I would not have been able to get out of the mud if the boat hadn’t been there, and even with the boat, it took a determined effort to get my slippery body up on the deck without being able to use my legs to push and with a heavy weight pulling me back down ... by my sensitive man parts! Oh, it was good. I also did some deep submersions using a breathing tube ... also not on camera. I let the weight drag me about a foot below the surface. That was also really intense. Enjoy the 15 minute video clip and the stills I captured from the video and DO NOT do as I do unless you really know what you’re doing and you have some kind of backup plan.

We shot another drama today. It was great fun. I stole Heather’s wallet and proceeded to get stuck in the mud while trying to run away. She caught up to me while I was struggling to break the grip of the mud. She got her wallet back, and she taught me a lesson ‘bout messin’ with a gal wearing leather boots and toting a big revolver. Check out the Damsels page for a new trailer. We’ve just released two new swamp clips featuring Heather Blake. The first one is heather, getting acclimated to the mud, and the 2nd one is Heather and me, playing in the mud together. You can find both new clips in my damsels clips4sale store. Only the solo clip is on the UMD store, at this time. I had a great time making both of the new clips. I had to talk Heather into wearing latex briefs, then I had to coax her into stepping into the “gross” mud. Obviously she loves me, because she got pretty muddy. :) It was threatening to rain, so we cut our mudding a little short. I had a lot of expensive gear to protect. Otherwise, conditions were great. Shooting video in the swamp on May 14

I rushed to finish work Friday in time to catch the late afternoon low tide. I didn’t get out on the water until after 5 pm, so by the time I got set up to shoot, the sun was getting low in the sky. That can make for some very nice video, if I can get the sun behind the video camera. You can see in the video frame below, that the late afternoon sunshine produced some very pleasant lighting. I wore my zip-through latex briefs (square cut). They look pretty cool, although they don’t stay on very well, so I’m always messing with them. The video clip from which the above frame was taken is already in my clips4sale store and it’s awaiting approval in my UMD store. It is named “Latex and Legs”. If you like to watch me show off in latex, this is a good clip. I only sink up to my crotch, and recline in the mud at times. I could have gone deeper in that spot, but the idea was to show more of my body than I do in a deep mud video. Speaking of deep mud videos, I went on to do some more desperate sinking after I finished shooting the “Latex and Legs” clip. I haven’t finished editing the deep mud clip, so that will be available sometime in the future. That one will feature total immersion, some desperate moments, thick mud, and a little bondage. I had a great time, mudding Friday night. When the sun was close to setting and I was getting a chill from the cold mud, I hauled myself out of the mud and took a swim in the creek to clean up. The place where I swam has a steep bank, so it’s all or nothing. You are either on the shore, or you’re in over your head. I swam around and got all cleaned up before I climbed back onto the shore. Once I was on the shore, I looked out on the water and saw an alligator watching me from about 20 yards distance. I watched him until he submerged, and left me wondering where I might see him again. I couldn’t help but think about that alligator the entire time I was cleaning my gear and loading my boat for the return trip. I made it back to my car with a little sunlight to spare. It was a really pleasant evening to be on the water. I’m glad I managed to break free and go out. I wish I could make a video that would give you a sense of what it’s like to go out alone, late on a sunny afternoon when the air is fresh and mostly what you hear is birds singing and the wind blowing through the grass. I’d also like to show the entire trip, from packing to loading, unloading, setting up, tearing down, cleaning up, and returning home. Packing a video camera, tripod, and accessories into the swamp for a mud video is a lot of work, and the logistics of it are somewhat involved. My clips are fun, but you’re really not seeing the big picture. Thanks again to my supporters. You guys and gals make it all possible. Happy mudding!

A Great Day for Swamping

Today was just too awesome. The weather was perfect, the tide was low, and the window of mudding opportunity was at least 2 hours; which is plenty of time to wear yourself out in the mud. I sank, I did handstands, backflips, and I got tied up. There was an official photographer out there too! She did an awesome job taking photos and shooting short video clips. I will be forever in her debt, but please don’t tell her. I should have a video clip on-line soon, and I’ll have to upload some of these great photos to the gallery. More to come, soon!

Fugitive

Fugitive was a rather ambitious project I started in April of 2008. I started shooting the hardest scenes (the ones in the swamp) with the female star on April 20, 2008. That’s as far as I got with it. So, yesterday, I dug up the dusty files, brushed them off, and created a female mud clip from them. The clip is already available on Clips4Sale.com, and it should be approved for sale on the UMD.net store, soon. Tomorrow (Wednesday, May 5), I expect to be getting an early start in the swamp. The weatherman promised me that this rain will be gone before Wednesday morning and I’m counting on it. If the wind doesn’t change the flow of the estuary, the tide will be low around 10:00 and we’ll be throwing a little party in the really deep stuff. Given that I’ll have my official photographer with me, I’m looking forward to some good photos and maybe some video from the trip.

For those of you who’ve been waiting for me to shoot another female in the mud, your patience has paid off. Heather and I had a wild time, slogging through thick mud, me with my jeans on, and her with bare legs ... being pulled along by a rope tied around her waist and through her crotch. It’s a good thing she likes that sort of abuse, or I’d probably be in deep mud right now with a very heavy weight tied to my ankles. Oh, maybe not, she knows I’d like that. Where was I? Oh, we had a great time. I didn’t get to do any serious sinking, but I got to get pretty muddy while I was leading a half naked girl (with her hands tied) around the swamp. Finally, here is a photo Heather took of me, as I was taking my boat back into the creek and using the opportunity to rinse some of the mud out of my jeans.

Well, today was a great day for shooting video, except that it kept raining, off and on. It started raining, just as I was getting ready to go out, so I waited around for a little while and decided it was safe to venture out. I did shoot some short video clips, stopping to pack away the camera when it would start to rain. I decided, since it was not really that warm and there was no sun, I’d shoot some video of my bare feet, for those of you who like to check out my feet. I moved on to a swampy area and shot some video of me, pumping my legs in thick mud, but only allowing myself to sink up to my crotch. The audio in this clip is great. When it started raining again, I packed up the camera for the last time. After I gave up on the video camera, I moved to a spot that offers more options for bondage. I played around with some ropes in some awesome mud. I wish I could have gotten some of it on camera. I’m doing something different with today’s video. I’m going to upload the entire thing to my free movies page, and I’m going to offer the same move for sale in my clips store. So, “What’s the catch?”, you ask. The catch is simple. The free movie will be 320x180 frame size at 300kbps, whereas the store version will be 960x540 at 5000kbps. The store version is essentially 540p in very nice quality and the free version is web/preview quality. (Update: the free version has been removed as of June 7, 2010, but you may still purchase this clip)

Oak Island’s 911 Center received a call at approximately 10:00 pm on April 10th from a woman that was stranded in the marsh between Oak Island and the Intracoastal Waterway. The US Coast Guard and Oak Island Water Rescue were first dispatched to the location, found the subjects, but were unable to get to their exact position in the thick marsh. Captain Charlie Wilson was dispatched to the scene at 11:05 pm with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office airboat. Wilson arrived at approximately midnight and found the victims had sunk in the mud up to their underarms. Wilson was able to get to the victims without difficulty in the airboat and lift them out of the mud and onto the boat. The victims advised Captain Wilson that they had been fishing on an inflatable raft when the raft deflated and left them stranded in the marsh. The victims suffered no injuries.

For those of you who’ve been waiting for a great mud diving clip, you really need to check out the mud diving clip from April 12. The longer clip features a slow sink and struggle, culminating in total immersion with some tight shots as I descend slowly below the surface. The mud is thick and evil. It’s fun for everyone. Muddy feet lovers will also find some good stuff in these clips. I’m always happy to get comments, so don’t be shy.

Tides

Tides are less predictable than you might think. Sure, the lunar tide follows the orbit of the moon, but the moon’s position changes over the year, and there are other factors that affect the lunar tides, like the solar tide and wind. Today, I was blessed with a very low tide. There was mud everywhere to explore. I actually had to leave before the tide came back in. It was a wonderful day to be in the tidal swamps. I set out to record something, but I wasn’t sure what sort of mud I’d be playing in, since I selected a new spot to check out. As luck would have it, my entire leg disappeared when I made my first, bold step into the soft mud. You guys are going to think I do this on purpose, but I managed to get stuck in the middle of it, and there was no bottom. I kept sinking until I drowned in the quickmud. Again ... After drowning, I did some acrobatics. It was a great day to be a mudder. These pictures are all frames from the video I recorded. Once I get it processed, there will be some new clips for sale and for free download. I’d like to thank everyone who has purchased one or more of my clips, recently. Your support means a lot to me. Don’t be afraid to send me your thoughts and opinions. I plan on shooting more mud video soon. The weather has been very nice, and this is a good time of year for it. Summer can be almost as bad as winter.

Working on the mudpit

I’m not sure if I mentioned it before, but this year I decided to try mixing organic matter into my mudpit to make the mud less dense and heavy, thereby allowing a body to sink easier and deeper. In the photos sequence below, I’m mixing the organic matter that I collected into the mud underneath. I just happened to have my ankles tied to a stake and my wrists tied behind me, which made the mixing process more difficult. Click on the image to see a larger version I have more mud and organic matter to add. I should be able to bring the mud up to ground level, but I have some ideas that I wish to explore before transferring the additional mud to the pit. At the moment, it is safely stored in a 100 gallon, steel tank. Edit: I suppose it’s worth mentioning that the frames that make up the composite image above are from a video.

Swamp diving

It wasn’t easy, but I went out on Sunday morning and enjoyed the wonderful, summer-like weather. I only got 2 hours of sleep the night before, so it was hard to resist the urge to go back to bed after returning from the airport. As it turned out, I forgot to take my tripod. That made camera placement a little difficult, but I still got some great shots. The trip turned out to be a wallowing trip, punctuated with several inversion events. As you can see in the photo, above, I was using a breathing hose, so I could spend a little more time upside down. Once you get this deep, the pressure pinches your nostrils shut, so the mud quits going up your nose, but that doesn’t stop the mud from going up your nose as you being your dive. I had a lot of fun on the first, official day of mudding. The video has been uploaded to my clips4sale store. Those of you who like my bare, muddy feet might relish this rare opportunity to see me in the mud with my feet in the air, although in most of the 19 minute video, I am feet first in the mud. I’m afraid my nose can only take so much muddy water.

Planning my next trip

This has been a warm, sunny week. Spring has arrived, and it looks like we might just skip the formalities and transition right into summer. I must be up early Sunday (tomorrow) to take a friend of mine to the airport. After that, my plan is to take advantage of the morning low tide and go dive into some soft swamp mud. If any of my North Carolina fans wants to join me, I’ll be heading out by kayak around 08:00 on April 4th. The low tide should last until around 10:30, so there will be about 2 hours for mudding. This will be my first trip of the season into the deep pudding-like mud. The weather should lend itself well to video taping, with the sun low in the sky and no chance of rain. I intend to record as much as possible. If anyone has any suggestions, keep them simple; it’s likely I’ll be out there alone. On an unrelated note; I’ve been doing some work on the mudpit. I’ve decided to try something different. I’m collecting biomass (e.g. rotted wood pulp) to mix into the mud, in order to make it lighter and hopefully to help it retain moisture. The clay-sand mix is so heavy I can barely sink into it. By mixing in some soft decaying organic matter, maybe I’ll be able to sink more deeply when I’m struggling in the mudpit ... especially in bondage. I’ve also revived my UMD account and put a couple of videos there for sale. It’s an experiment. So far, it looks like UMD may not be such a great place for me to sell my male mud videos. However, it might be good for female mud videos, should I make any more of those ... which could happen. The mudding season in North Carolina starts tomorrow! I’m excited.

Three went out, and one returned ...

Three of us convened at 08:30 to venture out together into the deep swamp. Only one of us had any idea what he was getting into, and only one of us returned, but that’s how these deep swamp adventures go, sometimes. I, of course, was the one who had been there before, knew where we were going, and what to expect. I feel sort of bad, having lead the other two, blindly into danger. However, I don’t feel that bad, because they were pretty hard on me while we were out there.

They tied me up and hung me by my ankles over the mud such that my shoulders were resting precariously on the soft ground. My upper body was slowly engulfed by the thick mud. They gave me a breathing hose and threatened to leave me hanging there. Twice they took it away, and finally, my head was allowed to go under, with no way to breath. The black mud slowly closed over my entire face; first my eyes and nose, and finally my mouth. In a desperate struggle to breath, I managed to get my wrists free, so I could propel myself back to the surface, gasping for air. Needless to say, it’s not wise to try to kill me in my own swamp. I’m sure the quicksand has devoured them both, by now.
On a more serious note, we got still photos and video of our little adventure. I regret that we couldn’t have done a longer scene, but the mud is still really cold. It was an adventure, though, and we got some pictures for the foot fetishists.

A great day for mudding

It was a great day for mudding! It was sunny and well over 50 degrees. I’m not sure why, but I had the creek all to myself. I would have expected everyone to be out on the water on such a gorgeous day. I took my trusty video camera and shot some video. The stills you see here are from the video. As you can see, it was a very pretty day. I went back to the new spot I’ve been exploring. The majority of the video is in the location pictured in this second video still image. The mud was thick, with great texture. I only wish it had been a little warmer! In any case, it was an agonizingly slow sink. I never did find a bottom, but I could only sink up to my armpits, given the temperature and thickness of the mud. I stayed in the mud until I was shivering. Had I been closer to going under, I might have kept going, but I still had at least 10 inches to go down and my legs were locked in too tight to just bend my knees. It was really some great mud, and I had a great time. I’m not sure when I’ll get another chance to venture out, but spring is right around the corner, so I’m optimistic. I’ll have a new video for sale soon. I’ll probably put some out-takes on the web-site, for everyone to enjoy.

Spring isn’t too far away, and we’re still getting frost here on most nights. It is supposed to be in the mid 50’s (fahrenheit) tomorrow, so I’m going to take it on the chin and go out to see how muddy I can get without freezing my testicles off. I’ve been doing some housekeeping on my hard drives and I stumbled across this old movie ... When I shot this, I turned my consumer widescreen video camera on it’s side to better coverage, vertically. I then had to rotate the video 90 degrees and pan around on the image to follow the action. The video would have been longer if it hadn’t started raining. Had I known it was going to rain, I might have protected the camera so I could have hung there in the rain for a while longer. The rain adds a nice effect, and it’s hard not to love wet latex. Wish me luck on my trip, tomorrow. If all goes well, I should have some video to share. Summer is coming ... I hope! :)

Swamping on Ice

The weather was sunny and seasonably warm today, so I loaded up a canoe and paddled out to a new spot that I wanted to explore. It was a beautiful day to be on the water ... as long as you were warm and dry. The ground was ice cold; especially where the sun could not reach it. I shot some video of me, slogging around in the swampy woods. I started out bare footed, but quickly retreated to my diving boots to keep from freezing my feet off. It was warm enough that I could strip down to a loin cloth for my first video clip. I changed into briefs for the second. I shot almost 30 minutes of video (which probably took about an hour) and did a little exploring before I started to get chilly. Once I was dry and dressed, I warmed up quickly. I’m really glad I got to go out and get some sun today. It was really a pretty day. I’m uploading a short clip from the first of the two videos I shot. Last trip of 2009

I went mudding on December 28 because it was a beautiful day and I knew I wouldn't get another chance for some time to come. It was a bit too cold to dive in, head first, or to get completely immersed, for that matter. So, I put on some jeans and boots, grabbed my video camera, and went out to shoot a video of me, slogging around in the swamp. I took my canoe and I paddled a short distance to a spot I wanted to explore. I wasn’t really sure what hazards I would face, while exploring the terrain for the first time. The weather was just warm enough that I was able to keep warm, even when my legs were mostly submerged in the cold ground. I never got in over my thighs, which was a little disappointing. I was prepared to go deeper, although cleanup would have been a chilling experience. As it turned out, the video went well and I was in no hurry to return home. I held this blog entry until I had finished editing and uploading the video. I’ve added a 13 minute version to my clip store, and I created a short version from the out-takes for the web-site. The web version isn’t a teaser for the clips4sale version because the two don’t share any footage. When I setup the camera to record, I have video of me walking away and coming back. If I’m editing something to flow like a story, I can only use the coming or the going part, not both. Swamping Out-takes free clip

November update

Well, it’s November, again. Winter is approaching fast and it looks like it’s going to be a chilly fall. I’ve been watching the weather and the tides, hoping for an opportunity to go mudding before the water gets really cold. The tides are difficult, at best, this time of the year. I have still been kayaking as much as my schedule permits, and the mild fall weather makes for great outdoor bondage possibilities. I’ve also been spending some time on the backyard mud-pit. This past Sunday (November 1), I posed for some bondage photos in my photography studio. My girlfriend took the pictures while I hung around and complained about the steel making grooves in my private parts. You can see a few of the pictures in the 2009 Photo Gallery. It wasn’t as bad as it looks. I designed the bondage to make it look strict and painful, but it was just a show. Regardless of what you may have heard, nobody was injured during that photo shoot. As far as future mudding trips go, we just had a full moon, which means it will be a week or more before the tides come back around, and at least 2 weeks before I get any really good tides. I’m afraid it’s going to be pretty cold by then, but I’ll try to remain optimistic.

I went out paddling today around 2PM, because the weather was perfect and I’m going to be stuck in the office forever. I had hoped I might find some mud, as low tide was supposed to be a little before 2PM, however the prevailing winds kept the tide from going out. Since I had packed my video camera, I took some time to splash around and shoot some wet video. I got a series of clips that I’ll hopefully be able to use for a future mini-drama. Given that the wind has been the more significant factor affecting the tide levels in the estuary this year, I decided to try mudding again today, even though the astronomical tide level wasn’t optimal. There was little or no wind this morning at low tide, and what little wind there was, was coming from a favorable direction. As it turned out, the tide got pretty low, and stayed low long enough for me to wear myself out. I shot video before I got to the mud, and continued shooting while I was slogging my way through the soft mud. The boat makes an excellent platform for the video camera, so this video is shot from my boat’s point of view. The boat follows me as I slog through the mud, wearing only a pair of tight blue jeans. Eventually, I attempt to slog through a spot that proves impassible. I am caught in subsurface quicksand and sucked to my death. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it. After finishing my little drama, I did some acrobatics in the mud before I put away the camera and entertained myself in the bottomless mud until the tide started coming back in. I made a terrible mess of my boat and my gear. Before returning to the car, I swam in the creek and washed everything as well as I could. Once I arrived home, I had to hose the salt water off of everything and scrub my boat vigorously with a scrubber and detergent. It’s getting late, now. I’ve had a full day. I got an early start, took to the mud before lunch, and went back to work after I got home and took care of my gear. I’m going to wrap this up. In the next couple of days, I’ll upload a new video to my clip store, and I’ll put some outtakes on the web-site. I’d sure love to hear from some of you, when you find the time. Swamping on Aug 20

The astronomical tides were about as good as they get in August, but a wind out of the South kept the tide from going out as much as I had hoped it would, and the window of opportunity for sinking was pretty short. I had been watching the tide charts for weeks, and my expectations were high. I packed my breathing tube and my lead weight for some deep mud exploration. When I got to the creek, it didn’t look good, but I was determined to take advantage of whatever mud I could find. Since I arrived before the tide finished going out, I had lots of time to set up a camera and work out the details of my weighted sink. I tied my ankles together and attached the 34 pound lead weight somewhere where I would notice it, pulling me down. I put my breathing hose nearby and swung my ass, and the weight, out into the mud. As gravity would have it, the weight eventually pulled me under the mud, where I had to breath through a hose, as I descended deeper into the cool blackness that now totally engulfed me. There was nothing solid under my feet. The mud was bottomless, as far as I could tell, and the heavy weight was pulling me deeper as I struggled. Going under the mud is intoxicating. Part of me wants to check to be sure I’ll be able to free myself from the weight, and another part of me just wants to sink deeper and deeper until the weight of the mud crushes the breath from my body. Favorable winds

The wind is currently out of the West and South West, which is generally favorable for low tides on the local estuaries. It is just a little after 07:00 AM right now, and the low tide this morning is at 08:15. After paddling with a group last night on the Newport River, surrounded by muddy banks that just begged to be explored, it’s going to be difficult to talk myself out of starting my day in the swamp. If the winds remain favorable, the opportunities for mudding will be much more frequent and promising, but the one thing you can count on with the weather is that it will always change. I was out paddling a couple of days ago, a few hours before low tide, and the water was already pretty low. The sun was setting, so I could only take a quick dip in the mud, as I paddled past one of my favorite spots. By the time I got to the take out, the sun was on the horizon, and the tide was at it’s lowest point. For a +0.5’ low tide, it was pretty low. Don’t forget to check the clip store for two, new clips from July. I’m going to put together a teaser from some of my recent trips, as soon as I get some free time to hack it together. A special thanks to my buddy in Melbourne for purchasing 2 copies of my latest clip, but you really didn’t have to do that. Swamp bondage video

I uploaded the swamp bondage video we shot on July 19 to the clip store. It’s a short, hand-held video of me, struggling hopelessly with my arms tied behind my back and my ankles tied together. I’ve been way too busy to keep up with my videos, but once I get some down time, there are a few videos I want to edit and put on the web-site, and some more I hope to upload to GAMWAM’s Yahoo! Group. Don’t hesitate to drop me a note, if you’re interested in what I’m doing. Like all exhibitionists, I like to have an audience! My next sinking trip will probably be around mid August.

Diving, bondage, and tides

Well, I’ve made a couple of trips in the past week. On the first trip (July 19), the tide was really low. I dove, headfirst into the mud, did some somersaults, and otherwise exploited the bottomless mud until it started raining. At that point, I had to climb out quickly and put the camera into it’s protective case. Once the camera was stowed, I went to another spot where I know that is a root just far enough below the surface that, when tied to it, I can just reach the surface for air. I fully expected to get rained on some more, so I was happily surprised when the weather improved and I was able to continue playing (off camera) for some time before the tide started coming back in and I was thoroughly exhausted. The video from that trip is now on-line in my clip store. My second excursion was on July 22 and the astronomical tide was lower than on the 19th. However, due to a strong wind tide, the tide level was a full 6 inches higher than on the 19th. As you all know, I take what I can get, and do the best I can. Since my really deep spots were under water, I picked a higher, shallower spot, and I had my mate tie my wrists and elbows behind my back and tie my ankles together before I jumped into the thick, swamp mud for a spirited, but futile struggle. My mate was gracious enough to run the video camera, while I struggled, helplessly. Any day I can go out on the water, get tied up, and totally immersed in mud is a great day! The photo on the right was taken while I was getting rinsed off. I haven’t yet edited the video, but I’ll have some highlights on-line soon. I also added 6 new pictures to the 2009 photo gallery.

July update

I’m at least one trip behind, here. I went mudding on the 1st of July, but the tide did not go out enough to expose most of the mud. I managed to get immersed and play around for 30 minutes before the incoming tide overtook what little mud I had. July and August aren’t the best months for low tides, here in Eastern North Carolina. We’re also experiencing a lot of wind, which can work for you, or against you, in terms of tide levels; depending on the direction of the wind. I did shoot some video on the 1st of July. I’ll probably put some of that video on-line and announce it here, when I do. I ventured out in my kayak last night. There was no hope of mudding, but I had a pleasant paddle and took some pretty photographs. If I get really lucky, I’ll get to spend some time in bondage this weekend. I have a new play partner who is also a rope bondage enthusiast. I hope everyone in the northern hemisphere is enjoying their summer. I intend to make the most of it, and I’ll try to keep you all up to date on my adventures. For those of you in the southern hemisphere, winter won’t last forever! :) In the mean time, I’ll try to shoot enough photos and video to keep you warm down there.

Razor Grass 6/14/2009

On June 14, I rose early, drilled a hole down the center of my 4 lead bricks and ran a steel eyebolt through them so I could use them together like an anchor. I loaded the 34 pound (15.5 kg) apparatus, my breathing tube, and my kayak onto my trailer for a trip into the swamp. Razor grass is aptly named. So is needle grass, for that matter. Walking through the grass, wearing nothing but latex briefs, I got sliced, diced and poked. Razor grass will give you something like a painful paper cut. I looked more like I’d been through the paper shredder! The flies were also out in force. I got bitten from my ankles to my forehead. Those are the hazards of summer, but it’s all part of the adventure. The mud was warm and inviting, and it made it all worthwhile. I spent some time fully immersed in the mud, breathing through a tube. The weights helped me stay under as long as I wanted to. I didn’t have time to deal with a full complement of audio/video gear, but I did throw in my piece-o-shit DV camcorder so I’d have something to share with my fellow mudders. Swamping on May 23

It is Memorial Day weekend here in the U.S. It’s the unofficial start of summer. The weather was mild with a light and variable breeze. I went back to the place I found on May 8 for some deep exploration. I took some lead weights and a breathing tube. I went down until the pressure on my chest was such that I had trouble taking a breath. At that point, I released myself from the weights and resurfaced. The lead weights (around 35 pounds) were enough to hold me under and make it pretty easy to sink, but not enough to just drag me down. It was good, though. All I had to do was to squirm around a little, or pump my feet to go a little deeper. I did not find a bottom, or even anything remotely solid. After I resurfaced from my deep sink, I played around some and I explored the area a little more. My enthusiasm waned a little when I started to get cold. The deep mud was pretty cool, and the breeze was taking my heat away fast when I was out of the mud. Either way, I was losing heat. The sun came and went. I was grateful when it would share it’s warmth with me. I shot 20 minutes of video, but I had no way to clean myself up enough to reset the camera, so I only recorded my deep, weighted sink. It’s not a very interesting video, in that you can’t see me, or much of me, most of the time. Here is the clip.

Alligator Stalker

The Alligator Stalker has been added to my clip store. It was shot on 5/8 in the new, deep mud spot I discovered. It’s a very good “death by quicksand” clip. I think it’s one of my best. Look for more new clips from the new mudding spot in the next 2-3 weeks. I’ll definitely be heading back out there at the first opportunity. Maybe I’ll be able to talk the fngibtm into joining me out there, next time, so I have someone to drown in the bottomless mud. I know you guys have been waiting a long time to see someone pushed under the mud.

Awesome day in the swamp

Wow! Today I discovered some very deep mud. I selected a spot for shooting a little movie about an alligator stalker who looses his footing and falls into the mud. I didn’t know how deep the mud would be, so I didn’t know how the movie would end. When I “fell” into the mud for the first time, I sank easily up to my crotch with no sign of bottom. The second time I jumped in, I wasn’t doing it for the camera so I jumped a little more deliberately and went down nearly to my armpits. The mud was well over my head. There were places where I went down as deep as I could go and could not find a bottom. As luck would have it, I had traveled over very shallow water on my way in, and the tide had gone out even more, leaving me stranded out there, surrounded by nothing but bottomless mud. It was awful! ; ) So, I took advantage of my time out there and shot some more video clips. I got one hell of a workout, and by the time I could get out of the swamp, all of my gear was covered with mud. Of course, I had been covered with mud for over an hour, but that’s different. On may way back, I stopped to swim in the creek to clean up. A boat came zipping around the corner and nearly stopped when they saw me. I’m not sure if I looked like shit, or if they were wondering about my muddy boat with a muddy tripod strapped on the front and muddy gear stacked on the back. I know I didn’t look good, but I had been swimming, so I shouldn’t have looked too bad, either. We may never know what they were thinking, but they looked concerned. Maybe they were worried that I was swimming in alligator infested waters. The hunter becomes the hunted! :) Seriously, I worry more about poison ivy. Speaking of video, do you guys even realize what you’re missing from my HD video? Here is a single frame from the video. Imagine when we all have BluRay DVD players and we can watch these on our HD televisions! The clips4sale people tell me to limit my videos to around 10MB/minute, which doesn’t allow me to encode them in their full glory, but the HD videos still look sharper and cleaner at the smaller sizes. In addition to my mini movie, I shot a movie where I’m treading mud (like treading water), until I’m too exhausted to keep it up, at which point I go under and die (of course). It’s going to take me days to recover from today’s little adventure. I spent 40 minutes just cleaning my gear when I got home.

Immersed again

I’ve got lots of things to report. I did some housekeeping on the web-site and did some work on the gallery, and added some photos from today’s adventure. Which brings me to my trip report. Today was intense. I didn’t go to the usual places. I explored a little bit, broke in a new sinking hole, and picked up a few clams for dinner. I took some still photos, but no video. You’ll hate me if I tell you the details of my trip, since I didn’t video tape any of it. I definitely got in over my head, and it was good. I got a lot of exercise and there is nothing like the rush I get when the mud is closing over me and I just want to go deeper. I ordered a new tripod for kayak trips that will be a little more manageable in weight and size, and it’s designed for muddy conditions! When that comes, I’ll probably be out swamping for days ... well, maybe not. In case you’re wondering what I did to the web-site, it wasn’t much. I just shuffled some things around (behind the scenes) and got rid of the drop down menu for movie clips. I found that to be unreliable and messy, so now you just get the movie page, which has links to all of the movie clips that are currently on-line. The weather has been very warm this past week, the water is also warm, and the days are getting pretty long. This is prime mudding season, so I expect to be recording some new adventures in May. Swamping on April 23

What a beautiful day it was to be out. The wind has been blowing with a vengeance for the past few days, but today it was relatively calm and sunny. Low tide was late in the afternoon, so it was a great opportunity to ditch work early and go enjoy some mud in the sun. The low tide was really low, and the trip was no disappointment. I added 3 still photos from the trip to the gallery page. I also shot some video while I was playing in the mud. I haven’t had a chance to look at it, yet, but I should have a clip to share, pretty soon.

Exploring @ Long Point

Sunday, April 12 was a down day for me. I was being troubled by a flood of negative thoughts so I decided I’d better do something to break the cycle. For those who don’t know me that well, I suffer from depression at times, and a few weeks ago I suffered an emotional trauma that left me reeling. In any case, I set out, yesterday, to explore around a campsite in the national forest. I left late in the day, so I packed for an overnight stay. I got there about 90 minutes before sunset, and the tide was going out. I put my boat on the little tributary that connects with the river right next to the campsite. It was a pretty grueling paddle. There were lots of thorny briars hanging over the rivulet of water I was navigating. The briars took their toll on me. In one case, I tried to brush them aside with my paddle but a branch swung back and the thorns embedded themselves in the side of my face. The branch didn’t break off the bush and the thorns held their grip in my cheek enough to stop my boat which had been moving forward. Ouch! Obviously I freed myself, plucked the thorns from my cheek, and continued on. I found some interesting mud, although most of it was about thigh deep. I might return to explore some more, one day. I returned to the river to clean up just before sunset. I washed off and went for a walk in the woods, checking out some soft spots, most of which were just over knee deep. As I was coming out of the woods, wearing a long sleeve t-shirt and swim trunks, and muddy from my knees down, a truck load of people showed up to fish in the river. I just acted like there was nothing unusual about slogging through the swamp, went down to the river to wash off, and changed into warmer cloths, since the sun was setting and the air was cooling off fast. I talked to the people who had arrived while I drank the one beer I had packed. I could have pitched my tent and spent the night, but I opted to drive home after dark. I did take one last photograph before I left. This would have been a great photo if I had gotten the fisherman in focus. I tried to focus on him, but it was just too dark.

Early spring mud

I got the idea to wear some new, white bikini bottoms into the mud as some kind of a spring ritual. I had this vision of walking into the mud and just sinking out of sight ... effortlessly. Of course it never works like that; especially when the mud is thick. In any case, I put on my white bikini briefs, set up my high definition camera, and tried to act like a “virgin”, willingly sacrificing myself to the mud. Unfortunately, the best spot I could find put the sun behind me, so there is more shadow that I would have wanted, but the video turned out Ok. I had to work pretty hard at going under, but the mud was deep enough that I could stand straight and point my toes down without feeling anything solid under my feet. If only I could cancel my buoyancy, so I could just keep sinking ... forever! ;) There is really nothing like being slowly swallowed in bottomless mud. The full video is available in my clip store. It has the ritual sinking sequence, and a few minutes of me struggling to get out of the mud and doing a couple of somersaults in the mud. If you’ve been paying attention, you may have noticed that I have a mudding adventure about once a month, and it’s generally been around this time of the month. That’s because of the moon cycles. We’ve got some great low tides happening this week because of the full moon, but the temperature is falling to near freezing tonight, so I probably won’t be able to exploit the low tides again until May.

I was pretty busy in March, and my foundation was rattled pretty badly on March 19. I haven’t really been the same since, but I’m doing better. Most of my friends and my family have been very supportive, but I still feel very much alone. I have a hard time relying on other people; especially when I’m feeling emotionally vulnerable. So, today I dredged up this clip from earlier this month. Check out the clip page for more details. The weather is warming up. I see some great mudding trips in the near future. BTW: If I still have any fans in Minnesota, I’m going to be visiting Minnesota sometime in the next 6 weeks. Dangerous trash cleanup!

I wrote about yesterday’s trip on the new clip page, so you should read that, also. Did I mention I added a new clip? :) So, I was out mudding yesterday. The mud was terrific. It was a little bit cold on the surface, but it was thick and smooth, and the tide was really low. Because I was concerned about hypothermia, I left before the tide came back in ... I never do that unless the sun is setting. I probably could have stayed in the mud another 20 minutes, but I was playing it safe. You can’t imagine how perfect the mud was. When I dove in, the mud was thick enough to make it difficult to come up for air. When we were filming my dramatic death by quick-mud, there was no water on the surface of the mud and the surface quaked and swirled like a giant vat of thick, chocolate pudding. I have already added the 9 minute, edited clip to Clips4Sale.com, in case anyone would like to buy it. The teaser that I added to the web-site is a glimpse into the full Trash Collector clip, and it has some bonus video from after we finished the trashy drama, including muddy body shots and a mud dive. In addition to the HD clip I uploaded from February 8, 2009, I assembled a new clip from all of the mud dives I could find. The new clip is called “A Decade of Mud Diving”. John suggested that I assemble a “Best of Mudlover” diving clip, and I thought it was a great idea. Thank you, John, for the suggestion. I updated the gallery with a couple new photos I shot in my new “aussie” briefs from Skinzwear.com. I had to go to a lot of work to get an authentic photo, so I hope you all appreciate it! Winter mudding

On February 8, as the sun descended into the western sky, I ventured out to see what wonderful mud would be revealed by the extreme low tide. The full moon brings the lowest tides and the wind was blowing from the west, which pushes even more water out of the estuary. I set out with my video camera, hoping to record something, although I was pretty sure I wouldn’t be doing any total immersion. The water in the creek felt like it was about 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Someone said it was 45F, but I don’t think it was that warm. I paddled to an interesting tributary of mud that looked promising. I pulled my boat up the muddy channel, set up my video camera to shoot some video, and tried to make a good show of it. I am anxious to point out that the video was shot in high definition. This image is 25% of the original video frame size. I also used some fancy filters to soften the contrast for a very cinematic look and to preserve the detail in the mud without losing highlight detail. This is the face of the future. Someone asked about the clip from when the folks from Loaded Magazine came to our swamp. I went foraging through the archives and found the Loaded clip. I also found some other clips. I’m going to add the Loaded clip in a few weeks, when I can take down some of the current clips to make room. Today, however, I did add a short clip from April 25, 2004. It’s just a short slogging video, on the edge of the river (about 1 minute). My next priority has to be to bring the Damsels section up to date and add a links page with lots of mud related links. Ok, I’ve just finished step one of the Mudlover.com overhaul. I started over from scratch to give the site a new look, and make it more efficient for me to update it. Have a look around. There is more to come. Right now I’ve got a small photo gallery and 3 movies on-line. You can get this Blog as an RSS feed, so you’ll be notified when I make updates and add new movies, etc. There is a contact form, so you can let me know what you think of the new site design. It’s got a little way to go, but we’re on our way.

New Mud Spot

I got to spend some time on the water yesterday. The weather was very mild, and the water in the estuary was well over 60 degrees. It did not feel cold at all, when I was in it almost up to my pecs. I was paddling with a friend and we discovered this large expanse of mud (pictured above). The mud was thick and deep. I pumped my legs a couple of times and I was almost up to my waist without touching anything that resembled a bottom. The spot is a bit too public, as it is right along the main waterway. I was in a bit of a rush to check it out and get cleaned up before some fisherman cruised past. Next time I go there, I need to be a bit bolder. If I go during the week, it's a pretty safe bet that I won't encounter any boat traffic. Yesterday was a holiday here, so we encountered several fishing boats.

Exploring at High Tide

The sun was still in hiding today. I decided I had to get out for some exercise and fresh air. I put on latex briefs, my bike pants, diving boots, an insulated, long-sleeve t-shirt and my kayaking shirt over that. I was dressed to get wet and stay warm, but with all the rain we'd had lately and several hours before low tide, I really didn't expect to do anything more than paddle around. When I got to the water, the water level was at least 12 inches above the maximum for good mudding. I didn't care, it was nice to be out on the water; in spite of the weather and high water. I shot a few minutes of video while I explored a swampy wooded area. The video isn't very exciting, but it's different. I look pretty funny in my bike pants and neoprene diving boots. From there, I took another short paddle and decided to do some more exploring on foot. This time I stripped down to my latex briefs and went looking for a place to have a little fun. In spite of the fact that all of the best mud was underwater, I managed to get a pretty strenuous workout and I rather enjoyed myself. Cleanup was tricky, since I was a good distance from the main creek, but I managed to get clean enough to get dressed and paddle back. After a short dip in the creek, which was surprisingly warm, I returned to the takeout just as it was getting dark. Low tide was an hour or two after dark.

Hands Tied

2008 June 19 I was mudding earlier this week. I had not been mudding in a long time. The mud was unbelievable! I started shooting a little movie scene of me, in jeans with my wrists tied behind my back. I struggled through lots of mud before eventually getting trapped in quicksand and sinking out of sight. I didn't finish shooting the first day because my main shot did not come out well. I went back out the next day and shot some more scenes, in additon to reshooting the scenes that got messed up. Besides shooting the movie, I had a wild time in the mud. I did somersaults, I did a few dives; one really deep dive, and I did some off-camera bondage that was pretty intense. I should have a new movie out soon. In the mean time, I've uploaded a couple of clips to the ning group, "guys who love to sink in deep mud". I'll probably update the clip on the main page with a teaser for the new movie, as soon as it's ready. Have a muddy summer!

New server and new clip

Mudlover.com has moved to a new server. The good news is that the new server is much better and faster. The bad news is that bandwidth usage will be monitored and limited. I added a new clip to the Clips4Sale store. It is the latex/erotic wallowing clip I shot on 6/16 when I was doing the first day of shooting for "Almost Home Free" (which can also be found in the store). The new clip features me, in latex briefs doing some light, teasing bondage play, while forcing my head under the mud several times, then getting untied and doing some totally inverted mud play.

I know I've been away for a while. A big thanks to my supporters for hanging in there and continuing to purchase my clips. I'm still alive and quite healthy, but I've been overwhelmed with work and bullshit. I've had no patience for any sort of aggravation and those of you who know me know that I'm somewhat antisocial even when I'm at my best. The easiest way for me to avoid pissing everyone off is just to cut off communications when I'm spread too thin. So, having said that, I've just undertaken the collosal task of going through my old video tapes, dating back to 1991. My plan is to copy the video, pretty much unedited, to DVD-Rs using a DVD recorder. As I play through the old tapes, I'm organizing and cataloging the original material by subject matter. I've gone through 5, 2-hour tapes so far. Those old tapes really bring memories. I hope to throw together some "flash-back" teaser clips and upload them, before things get crazy in the office, again. p.s. It's a little cold for mudding right now, but I'm really anxious to get back in the mud.
